Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Surgeon seeking a fulfilling career opportunity? Sanctuary Personnel is excited to present a fantastic permanent Registered Veterinary Surgeon position with one of the UK's largest veterinary retailers based in Kettering.

The role is offering a salary of £48,000 to £65,000 per annum.

Working Hours: Full-time or Part-time hours (2 to 4 weekdays per week with additional 1 in 4 Saturdays) No OOH or on call

Team: Our team consists of 4 FTE vets, 7 RVNs and a really lovely reception team. We see a wide variety of cases, both medical and surgical, and encourage time taken to thoroughly investigate and follow cases through, case continuity is key.

Summary:

  • You look after clients/patients, we look after you is very much our ethos.
  • Need to be confident with all routine medical and surgical cases, though workload/days can be tailored to your interests.
  • You will be joining an established team with variety of individual interests including Feline Medicine certificate holder, vets with special interest in dermatology and surgery, nurses with interests in rabbits, exotics and feline nursing certificates.

What we're looking for from Veterinary Surgeon applicants:

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognised university.
  • Membership in the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
  • Previous experience as a veterinary surgeon is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary best practices and medical regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients and their pets.
  • Ability to handle a variety of animals safely and effectively.
  • Willingness to continually upgrade knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine.
