Sanctuary Personnel are seeking an experienced GP Veterinary Surgeon to join our client's team at a well-established veterinary hospital in Windsor!
Role Overview:
This full-time position includes a blend of surgery and consultation days, covering all aspects of first opinion practice. The role involves working four days a week and one in three Saturday mornings. They are open to discussing part-time options for candidates who prefer a flexible schedule. On-call duties are required approximately once a week for inpatients hospitalised at the practice.

Windsor is a picturesque town, surrounded by beautiful countryside along the Thames Path and Windsor Great Park. The town offers a variety of restaurants, shops, and cafes within walking distance. With excellent transport links to London Paddington and London Waterloo, and proximity to Heathrow and Gatwick airports, travel is convenient.
Their veterinary hospital is fully equipped to handle a wide range of surgical and medical cases. They have four consultation rooms, separate cat and dog waiting areas and wards, a dedicated dental suite, an imaging room, and a comprehensive in-house laboratory. Advanced equipment includes a Karl Storz laparotomy tower, radiography, ultrasound, dental radiography, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, orthopaedic equipment, ECG, and Capnography. They are the only practice within a 15-mile radius offering laparoscopic surgery.
Team and Culture:
Their team comprises seven Veterinary Surgeons, including two certificate holders in surgery and medicine, equating to 4.5 full-time vets. They also have a skilled nursing team of ten, consisting of eight RVNs and two students, supported by five staff members in practice management, reception, and administration. Many team members have been with them for years, reflecting their commitment to colleague welfare and high standards of client and patient care.
