We are on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Theatre Practitioner Band 6 to join our dedicated team of Nurses and ODPs in the beautiful location of Guernsey, UK. This exciting opportunity comes with a competitive salary ranging from £46,152  to £62,310 annually. What you will do:

  • Provide skilled clinical and technical assistance as an essential member of the operating theatre team.
  • Participate in the assessment of patient care needs and ensure agreed standards of care are implemented and maintained.
  • Engage in the running of elective and emergency operating sessions, and deputise for Team Leaders/Co-ordinators during specialty sessions.
  • Assist in coordinating departmental activities and cover for colleagues during absences.
  • Partake in weekend duties approximately 1 in every 3 or 4 weekends and contribute to on-call shifts once a week.


Requirements of the theatre practitioner:

- Valid NMC registration
- Degree or equivalent in general nursing
- Significant experience in general nursing, with the ability to apply this knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care
