Salary: £49,191 - £60,110 per annum (depending on experience)
Are you an Intensive Care Pharmacist seeking a new challenge? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist with Critical Care experience to join our client's pharmacy team at a leading hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC. They are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with excellent clinical skills to lead and transform their pharmacy services for Critical Care and Antimicrobial Stewardship.
Their hospital covers a number of specialist units including ICU, Gynaecology, CCU/HDU, Cardiac Treatment, and Digestive Health. Joining this team will give you experience and exposure to these different areas and the experts within these fields.
You must possess the vision and enthusiasm to take the services forward. You will be responsible for providing a high-quality comprehensive clinical pharmacy service across two intensive care units in their hospital's South and North locations. Additionally, you will be the lead pharmacist for antimicrobial stewardship, overseeing the coordination of microbiology ward rounds and supporting the antimicrobial stewardship strategy for the hospital.
What you will bring:
- Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
- GPhC Registration
- Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent experience
- Extensive relevant pharmacy experience, including providing a clinical pharmacy service to critical care at an advanced level
- Experience in ICU
- An interest in antimicrobial stewardship with desirable experience
- Strong initiative and commitment, with a ‘can do’ attitude to work
- Enthusiasm, with the ability to motivate yourself and your team
- Excellent communication, organisation, leadership, and problem-solving skills
