Are you currently an Intensive Care Pharmacist looking for a new challenge? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist with Critical Care experience to join our client's pharmacy team at a hospital which is currently rated “Good” by the CQC. They are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with excellent clinical skills to lead and transform their pharmacy services for Critical Care and Antimicrobial Stewardship.

The hospital covers a number of specialist units including ICU, Gynaecology, CCU/HDU, Cardiac Treatment, and Digestive Health. Joining this team offers experience and exposure to these diverse areas and experts within these fields.

You must possess the vision and enthusiasm to advance their services. You will be responsible for providing high-quality comprehensive clinical pharmacy service across two intensive care units. Additionally, you will lead the antimicrobial stewardship programme, overseeing the coordination of microbiology ward rounds and supporting the antimicrobial stewardship strategy for the hospital.

What you will bring:

  • Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
  • GPhC Registration
  • Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent experience
  • Extensive relevant pharmacy experience, including providing a clinical pharmacy service to critical care at an advanced level
  • Experience in ICU
  • Interest in antimicrobial stewardship, with desirable experience
  • Strong initiative and commitment, with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Enthusiasm with the ability to motivate yourself and your team
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
