Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a full-time Senior Residential Care Worker based in a Children’s home in Earley.
The salary for this permanent Senior Residential Care Worker job is up to £31,000.
Main Duties:
- To recognise, respond to, record, and refer any safeguarding concerns in line with the home’s Safeguarding Policy
- To ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people is paramount in everyday practice
- To align with each child/ young person’s risk assessment and emotional/ behavioural support plans
- To use therapeutic parenting techniques in daily practice (including Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy, PACE)
- To recognise and meet children and young people’s individual needs
- To develop and maintain healthy relationships with children and young people
- To support children and young people to develop/ maintain healthy relationships at home, within families, and in the community
Requirements of this job:
- Driver
- minimum 1-year residential experience, Level 3 /4 is desirable
