The salary for this permanent Senior Occupational Therapist job is £36,657 - £41,669 per annum.

Main Duties:
- Maintain detailed records in accordance with professional standards.
- Apply evidence-based practice and specialised skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
- Possess strong communication skills for managing difficult conversations.
- Demonstrate conflict resolution skills.
- Collaborate effectively with team leaders, therapy and nursing teams, and the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT).
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualised rehabilitation and treatment plans.
- Exhibit advanced skills in patient assessment and manual treatment.
- Utilise clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to create specialised rehabilitation management care plans.
- Assess and provide equipment to improve daily living skills for our service users.
- Continuously monitor, review, and reassess clients' rehabilitation plans and objectives against outcome measures.
- Perform clinical risk assessments and develop relevant risk management plans.
- Stay at the forefront of your field by exploring new emerging technologies and techniques.
Requirements of the Senior Occupational Therapist:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy or a similar qualification.
- Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Show proof of relevant postgraduate courses and ongoing professional development (CPD).
- Have significant experience working in rehabilitation.
- Have experience working with neurological patients.
- Be skilled in evidence-based practice and using outcome measures.
- Use advanced clinical reasoning for therapy assessments and interventions.
- Have experience working at Band 6 level or higher.
- Be able to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Confidently assess and manage risks related to therapy services.
