We are seeking an experienced Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in the vibrant area of Marylebone, Central London. This role is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people up to age 18 in a clinic that places sensory integration at its core. You will be responsible for providing high-quality assessments and interventions as part of a supportive and collaborative team. Join us from Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, where your expertise will help transform lives. What you will do:
- Lead and supervise a team of Band 5 and 6 Occupational Therapists, ensuring high standards of clinical practice.
- Manage a diverse caseload, achieving therapy goals and supporting colleagues in their case management.
- Ensure the quality of assessments, interventions, and client progress, focusing on fine and gross motor skills and sensory processing.
- Provide home and school recommendations, implementing interventions across different environments.
- Communicate therapy plans and progress effectively with parents and professionals.
- Conduct online therapy sessions for remote clients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, Educators, and Administrative Staff.
- Participate in strategic service development and contribute to the clinic's goals.
- Provide clinical supervision and development opportunities to junior staff.
- Design and implement specialist interventions for clients with complex needs, including sensory integration therapy.
The role requires a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration, sensory integration experience, and a minimum of 5 years' occupational therapy experience, with at least 2 years in a paediatric setting. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, with sponsorship potentially available if needed.
