Pay: £23.93
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to vulnerable residents living in community supportive [sheltered] housing schemes in the South of Westminster.
- Carrying out welfare checks on residents and responding to emergency calls via the community alarm system in the schemes from elderly vulnerable residents.
- Reporting to Senior Scheme Manager and working with colleagues to provide comprehensive support service.
- Encouraging independence, choice and control; reducing isolation and contributing to a safe and supportive environment.
Applicant Requirements:
- Ability to carry out Health and Safety checks in schemes Relevant training
- Qualifications in Social Care NVQ 3 or above, First Aid, Safeguarding and diversity etc
- Knowledge of first aid
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written - Problem solving and solution focused.
- Able to manage your own workload with minimal supervision, (lone working)
