Pharmacist in Medical/Surgical and Pediatric/Neonatal Specialisms
Location: Worcester Royal, UK Paying £36 Hourly - Ongoing
We are seeking a talented Band 8 Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic team at Worcester Royal in the UK.
This full-time opportunity, working Monday to Friday for a total of 37.5 hours per week, offers a competitive rate of £36 per hour and promises to be both rewarding and impactful. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will support our teams in both medical/surgical and pediatric/neonatal units while focusing on patient-centered care. What you will do:
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assess and treat patients using your expert knowledge of medicines.
- Lead and mentor a small team of junior pharmacists, providing them with guidance and conducting performance reviews.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical medication reviews, particularly in cases involving complex polypharmacy.
- Participate in ward rounds and collaborate closely with medical staff to ensure safe and effective medication practices.
- Fulfil some limited dispensary commitments, requiring familiarity with dispensary operations.
- Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care with a focus on patient-centered service delivery.
The candidate must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC). Previous experience in medical/surgical and pediatric/neonatal pharmacy is essential.
