What you will do:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals with various impairments to pinpoint their needs.
  • Recommend necessary aids and equipment, tailoring them to each person's unique situation.
  • Coordinate and oversee home adaptations, ensuring they meet the highest standards and provide genuine benefits to users.
  • Provide guidance and training to clients and their families, empowering them with the skills needed to utilise the equipment effectively.
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each individual's care plan.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Experience in aids, equipment, and home adaptations.
  • Strong communication and assessment skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
