Sanctuary Personnel is looking for a competent Maintenance Technician to join our team in Thurrock
As an Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in the Operations and Facilities Management Team. The main role of the Maintenance Technician will be to undertake periodic sites inspections of landlord’s operational sites ensuring all facilities within sites are in functional and safe conditions. Duties will also include carrying out both planned and breakdown repairs within reasonable limits.
Responsibilities:
- Work with colleagues to achieve service plan objectives/targets.
- Comply with the Data Protection Act and the council’s Information Security Policy (including supporting policies)
- Participate in performance development, talent reviews and one-to-ones and to contribute to the identification of your own and team development needs and goals.
- cAtively promote and comply with the council's Diversity and Equality policies.
- Ensure full compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 etc., the Council's Health and Safety Policy and all locally agreed safe methods of work
Requirements:
- Proven Maintenance Technician experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience and knowledge of CAFM system
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Recongnised engineering or building services qualifications
- Must have a vailid IK manual drivers licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles is an advantage.
