Job Title: Clinical Specialist PET-CT & CT Radiographer

Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting for a PET-CT and CT Radiographer to join our client's imaging team at a prestigious healthcare provider in London, renowned for its excellence in oncology, cardiology, and neuroscience. The facility comprises two renowned locations, known for their commitment to exceptional patient care, recently recognised with an "Outstanding" rating by the CQC.
This rotational role will be primarily based in Chelsea, with flexibility to work across their imaging departments including in Marylebone. They are seeking a dedicated professional with extensive experience in PET-CT and CT imaging, who can contribute actively to their dynamic team environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, providing mentorship to junior staff and actively participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Shift Pattern:
- Full time, 37.5 hours per week
- 7.5 hour shifts, Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of PET-CT and CT procedures to the highest standards.
- Act as an Operator under IR(ME)R17 regulations.
- Rotate between the designated departments as required.
- Prioritise patient care to ensure efficiency and service quality.
- Collaborate closely with consulting physicians to clarify complex examination requests.
- Contribute to the training and development of new staff members.
- Adhere strictly to legislative and hospital policies, particularly in Radiation Protection and Infection Control.
- Support departmental audits and equipment quality assurance processes.
- Maintain exceptional standards of patient care through adherence to clinical best practices.
Skills & Experience:
- BSc in Radiography.
- HCPC registration (for Radiographers) or RCT registration (for Technologists) or willingness to achieve this with support.
- Significant post-qualification experience in senior-level roles within CT and PET-CT imaging.
