The salary for this permanent Clinical Specialist Mammographer job is up to £54,500 per annum.

Main Duties:
- Conduct quality control procedures for mammography.
- Manage all administrative responsibilities for the Mammography service under the direction of the Superintendent Mammographer and Imaging Manager.
- Operate and understand the PACS and DR/CR systems.
- Be available to work at the main hospital department or any satellite locations as needed.
- Participate in the rotation of Mammographers to other HCA sites when required.
- Assist in symptomatic breast clinics and support vacuum-assisted biopsies as appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists to deliver imaging and diagnostic services to breast unit patients.
Requirements of the Clinical Specialist Mammographer:
- Must be registered with HCPC.
- Possess relevant postgraduate experience, including a DCR in Mammography.
- Knowledgeable in Mammography processes and procedures.
- Previous experience with Hologic equipment preferred.
- Desirable to have Radiation Protection Supervisor certification.
