What you will do:
- Perform precise microtomy and embedding tasks to prepare specimens for examination.
- Ensure all laboratory procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain and operate specialist equipment used in histology practices.
- Collaborate with pathologists and fellow scientists to interpret and report on findings.
- Record and analyse data meticulously while maintaining confidentiality.
- Participate in quality control measures to ensure accuracy and consistency of results.
To be considered for this role, you must have at least two years of experience as a Biomedical Scientist in Histology and be registered with the HCPC. A car driver is preferable, offering more flexibility in accessing various healthcare facilities to expand your locum work opportunities.
