Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for an Adult Social Worker within the Prevention Team to work Full Time (12 Month Foxed Term) based in Southend.
The salary for this permanent Adult Social Worker job is up to £42,403per annum.

- Apply a strengths/asset-based approach to practice, both in terms of individual assessments, care plans and reviews and the culture within the team.

- Actively participate in and understand the wider transformative vision of Southend.
- Communicate effectively including accurate records, written reports, appropriately reporting concerns to managers and external stakeholders when required.
- Be responsible for prioritising your work and ensuring you have sufficient capacity to effectively manage your workload.
- Undertake leadership training as required to maximise the skill-set required to embrace change and drive Southend Borough Council towards a learning organisation.
- The successful candidate may be needed to work outside the core hours and on weekends and bank holidays when required, including having some on-call responsibility when needed.
Requirements of this Adult Social Worker role:
- A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
- Understanding of relevant legislation.
- Registered or eligible for registration.
