Job Title: Work in Bermuda - Registered Nurse - ACW Operating Room (Acute)
Type: Permanent
Shift Pattern: 35 hours per week, including weekends and public holidays
Salary: £75,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a scrub nurse or circulating nurse during a variety of operative procedures, including Laparoscopy, Endoscopy, Trauma emergencies, Orthopedic, Pediatric, ENT, Maternity, Gynecological, Ophthalmology, Urology, Vascular, and Plastics.
- Act as an Anaesthetic Nurse by assisting the anaesthetist during induction and throughout the anaesthetic period.
- Monitor and assess patients' clinical condition, taking appropriate action to ensure the safety of surgical patients.
- Function as a Charge Nurse and team leader when required, utilising clinical, hospital, and community resources.
- Participate in unit Quality Improvement activities and, when required, approved research projects.
- Serve as a preceptor/mentor and role model for new junior staff, as well as peers.
- Take active responsibility for professional development by participating in continuing education programmes and staying current with professional literature.
Qualifications & Registration Required:
- Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution.
- Current registration as required by the Bermuda Nursing Council (BNC).
- Minimum of two years of continuous employment/experience in a current Operating Room setting.
- Current certifications in CPR and IV; ACLS preferred.
- Essential experience in physical assessment.
- Demonstrated knowledge and clinical competencies.
