Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ultrasound examination rooms and equipment, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
- Ensure patient safety throughout the examination process.
- Review and assess patient medical history and examination orders for completeness and medical necessity.
- Evaluate patient preparation and tolerance, identifying any contraindications.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Level 1 Sonographer: Must hold RDMS certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent.
- Certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or equivalent (UK) is required.
- Experience: Preferred minimum of two (2) years post-graduate experience.
- New Graduates: Welcome, particularly Bermudians with relevant certification from an accredited institution (0-2 years of experience).
