About the Facility:
Located within three acres of landscaped grounds, this independent hospital specialises in treating adults and adolescents with a variety of mental health issues. The facility provides calming, recovery-focused residential treatment for up to 60 service users, along with day care and outpatient services. The hospital boasts a highly experienced team, including consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and therapists, and offers expert treatment in areas such as:
- Eating disorders
- Child and Adolescent Mental Health
- Addiction services
About the Role:
As the Therapy Services Manager, you will be a key member of the Senior Management Team, reporting directly to the Hospital Director. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating therapy services across both inpatient and day care settings. Your role will involve ensuring that the therapy services provided meet statutory regulations, quality standards, and key performance indicators (KPIs). You will oversee the range and level of treatments and activities, handle referrals, customer service, and manage the time to first appointment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving and delivering high-quality therapy services.
- Managing therapy services to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
- Ensuring that all colleagues receive appropriate clinical and management supervision.
- Undertaking on-call duties as directed by the Hospital Director.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualifications: A relevant degree in a therapy-related field (e.g., psychology, psychotherapy, or counselling) and a recognised professional qualification.
- Experience: Significant experience in managing therapy services, preferably within a mental health or healthcare setting. Experience with both inpatient and outpatient services is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills with a proven ability to drive service improvement and meet performance targets. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of statutory regulations, quality standards, and best practices in mental health care. Familiarity with key performance indicators and referral management.
- Supervision: Experience in providing clinical supervision and management supervision to staff members.
- On-Call Duties: Willingness to participate in on-call duties as required.
