Sanctuary Personnel is excited to announce an excellent opportunity for an Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner to join our client's busy and well-established theatre department at a leading private hospital.

This hospital has a stellar reputation for delivering high-quality, comprehensive private healthcare. The facility boasts excellent amenities and is staffed by a team of highly skilled professionals. With 4 theatres, 2 wards, and a total of 50 beds, the hospital also offers a dynamic range of outpatient services through its busy outpatient and diagnostic imaging departments, creating a progressive and stimulating environment for a highly motivated team.

The hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures. In this role, you will support the assessment of patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet patients' needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements by collecting, collating, and organising data, interpreting all information to make a justifiable assessment, and making this available to relevant others.

This position offers a bonus premium of £3,000: £1,000 after successful probation, and a further £1,000 at the end of each year for the next two years (terms and conditions apply).

Shift Pattern: 

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday
  • Occasional Saturdays

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Caring for patients undergoing procedures
  • Providing exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative stage
  • Assisting in the management and organisation of care provision within the Scrub/Recovery team in the operating department
  • Acting as either Scrub/Recovery Practitioner across a range of clinical specialities
  • Working across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Assessing patient needs, implementing and evaluating their care

Who They're Looking For:

  • HCPC registered ODP or an NMC registered Nurse with no restrictions
  • At least 2 years of Orthopaedics Scrubbing experience
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills are key to maintaining our high standards of patient care
  • Flexibility to work on rotation in different specialities
