The salary for this permanent Substance Misuse Team Leader job is £30,082 - £36,766 per annum.

What You'll Be Doinng:
- Team Leadership: As a Team Leader, you’ll manage and support a team of Recovery Navigators, ensuring that they are equipped to provide effective and compassionate support to adult male prison leavers and those on community orders.
- Delivering Recovery Services: Oversee the delivery of tailored Dependency and Recovery Services, which includes supporting individuals in achieving controlled behaviour or abstinence. You will work closely with your team to implement personalised action plans and help individuals navigate their recovery.
- Building Trust and Continuity: Establish strong relationships with individuals to build trust and provide ongoing support, ensuring a continuity of contact throughout their recovery journey.
- Collaborative Working: Coordinate with Clinical Commissioned Services (CCS) and other statutory providers to avoid duplicating services. Instead, you’ll ensure that individuals are accessing, engaging with, and sustaining their involvement in existing provision to meet their recovery needs.
- Reducing Reoffending: You’ll work toward reducing reoffending rates by helping individuals address their dependency issues and build pathways towards recovery, stability, and reintegration into society.
- Motivating and Supporting Change: Provide practical assistance, motivation, and guidance to help individuals sustain engagement with support services, reducing the risk of relapse or reoffending.
What We're Looking For:
- You have experience managing or leading teams, ideally within a probation, social care, or recovery services setting.
- You are deeply committed to supporting individuals struggling with dependency issues and are motivated to help them achieve positive, lasting change.
- You thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment, working in collaboration with other services to ensure individuals have access to all the support they need.
- You can build rapport and trust with vulnerable individuals, empowering them to engage with services and take charge of their recovery.
- You’re able to manage challenging situations with a calm, solutions-focused approach, helping your team and clients navigate obstacles on their recovery journeys.
- You have a sound understanding of the recovery process, including the role of statutory services, CCS, and probation, to effectively lead and guide your team.
