What you will do:
- Provide acute speech and language input on neonatal and paediatric wards, catering to patients with dysphagia and communication difficulties.
- Run a weekly video fluoroscopy clinic, playing a pivotal role in the diagnostic process.
- Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team on the unit to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Participate in follow-up clinics to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Potentially support community initiatives, extending support beyond the hospital environment.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration is essential.
- A minimum of two years experience in speech and language therapy, with a special focus on paediatric care.
- -A valid driver’s license is preferable for travel between sites.
