What you will do:
- Assessments and Interventions: Conduct thorough assessments under the Care Act and Mental Health Act to identify and plan care needs for individuals.
- AMHP Duties: Participate in the duty rota to handle the responsibilities of an Approved Mental Health Professional effectively, including coordinating assessments and complying with legal requirements.
- Safeguarding: Execute safeguarding enquiries and work towards developing solutions with individuals to ensure tailored protection plans.
- Collaboration: Engage with individuals, families, and different agencies to deliver cohesive and efficient services.
Requirements:
- Hold relevant social work qualifications and approval as an Approved Mental Health Professional.
- Possess proven experience in social work, particularly in the mental health sector and as an AMHP.
- Demonstrate strong assessment and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
