What you will do:

  • Handle complex and challenging casework with a high level of social work expertise.
  • Supervise and mentor newly qualified and less experienced staff on complex or high-risk cases.
  • Lead and support delivery of reflective practice that promotes relationships and engagement with children, young people, and families.
  • Facilitate effective participation and feedback from families, including family network meetings and family group conferences.
  • Collaborate with Principal Social Workers and Quality & Improvement Service to promote continuous learning and development.
  • Lead group supervision, case mapping, and practice development sessions.
  • Act as a practice educator, offering student placements and modelling excellent interagency collaboration.
