Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Senir Practitioner within the Adult Transitions Service Team to work full time based in Haringey.

The salary for this Senior Practitioner job is up to £55,657 per annum.

Main duties:

  • Work with the Principal Social Worker/Team Manager to further develop and embed the Strengths-Based Practice model across all areas of adult social services.
  • Develop practitioner support mechanisms (forums, practitioner panels, creative solutions tools etc) that enable staff to meet the strengths-based practice standards.
  • Lead on case discussions, social care forums and workshops where required.
  • Work with commissioners and providers to embed strengths-based and outcomes focused practice into their delivery models.
  • Implement Quality Assurance Framework across adult services and work with managers to ensure compliance.
  • Contribute to audit processes, identifying areas of development and working with managers and teams in developing the right skills and knowledge to improve quality of practice.
  • Work with workforce development change manager to undertake training needs analysis of teams and produce development plans within service areas with are continually reviewed.
  • Regularly review adult services policy, procedures and practice manuals identify changes/additions required and update as needed.
  • Work with Higher Education Institutes (HEI’s), Team Managers and staff in developing our apprenticeship pathways and ensuring we have pathways that support practitioners into apprenticeship opportunities.
  • Facilitate apprenticeship and ASYE forums to ensure that staff we are developing are provided with the support they need to further develop their practice in line with our strength-based model.
  • Take the lead in initiating, developing and sustaining internal and external working relationships with other professionals, partner organisations, external agencies

Requirements of this Senior Practitioner job:

  • A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Registered or eligible for registration.
