Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with clinicians, managers, directors, service users, carers, families, stakeholders, and external agencies
- Provide compassionate leadership to junior staff, including support staff and assistants
- Facilitate and oversee occupational therapy student placements
- Conduct appraisals and develop personal development plans for junior team members
- Develop and implement effective policies, protocols, and care pathways aligned with best practices
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with a recognized professional qualification
- HCPC Registration (Health and Care Professions Council)
- Substantial post-qualification clinical experience in adult services
- Expertise in occupational therapy models, assessment, and treatment approaches
- Strong clinical reasoning skills and specialist knowledge in assessment and intervention models
- Proven leadership skills and experience mentoring or supervising junior staff
