Salary: £28,500 - £34,500 per annum (equivalent to an NHS Band 5 role with late shift, weekend services allowance)

Overview:

Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy team at our client's facility, a facility currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. The centre is a leading provider of advanced cancer care, home to the world’s largest early clinical trials unit. Their specialist team delivers comprehensive diagnostic, inpatient, surgical, day care, and outpatient treatments, all within one site.

Role Summary:

As a key member of the Pharmacy team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, innovative, and up-to-date pharmacy services that meet the diverse needs of all clients within the hospital. You will be involved in all aspects of technical pharmacy services, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Regional Lead Pharmacy Technician, Senior Pharmacy Technician, and Regional Pharmacy Manager, you will support the operational management of core pharmacy services, which include:

  • Management of three dispensaries
  • Pharmacy procurement and stock control
  • Medicines distribution and ward top-up
  • Medicines management on the wards

What You’ll Bring:

  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • BTEC or equivalent NVQ in Pharmacy Services
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Additional specialist training/knowledge as appropriate
  • Accredited Checking Technician Qualification (Desirable)
