What You Will Be Doing
- As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you'll ensure that young people and adults with acute mental health needs receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and fostering positive teamwork.
In this dynamic environment, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality, compassionate nursing care to service users.
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
- Offering mentorship and support to team members.
- Observing, recording, and reporting all service user changes, maintaining accurate care records.
- Skills and Knowledge Required
- A relevant nursing qualification.
- NMC registration.
- Strong team-working skills.
- High self-motivation and a flexible approach.
- A positive, naturally caring, and compassionate attitude.
- Commitment to high-quality care and evidence-based practice.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a similar role, ideally within a mental health setting.
- Competence: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing environments and work under pressure.
- Professionalism: A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.
