What You Will Be Doing

  • As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you'll ensure that young people and adults with acute mental health needs receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and fostering positive teamwork.

In this dynamic environment, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality, compassionate nursing care to service users.
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
  • Offering mentorship and support to team members.
  • Observing, recording, and reporting all service user changes, maintaining accurate care records.
  • Skills and Knowledge Required
  • A relevant nursing qualification.
  • NMC registration.
  • Strong team-working skills.

  • Commitment to high-quality care and evidence-based practice.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a similar role, ideally within a mental health setting.
  • Competence: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing environments and work under pressure.
  • Professionalism: A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.
