The clinic is a general adolescent inpatient unit catering to young people aged 13 to 18. The unit treats a wide range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders and acute psychosis, and addresses complex needs such as neurodevelopmental disorders, including mild learning disabilities or autism. Young people with disordered eating may also be admitted.

What You Will Be Doing

As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will provide high-quality care to young people in their 12-bed CAMHS service. You'll play a key role in supporting your colleagues and fostering a positive team environment.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering compassionate, effective nursing care to service users
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans
  • Mentoring and supporting team members
  • Observing, recording, and reporting changes in service users, and maintaining accurate care records
