Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to take on a new locum opportunity within theInpatient Team
Location: Nottingham
Contract Type: Locum, ongoing block booking.

Pay Rate: £24.31 - £27.24 per hour (assignment rate)
- Days - £24.31ph
- Nights/Saturdays - £26.01ph
- Sunday/Bank Holiday - £27.24ph
Main Duties:

Patient Care:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with various mental health conditions.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects.

Monitoring and Documentation:
- Monitor changes in patients' mental status and health, reporting significant changes to the team.
- Maintain accurate patient records and perform risk assessments to ensure safety.

Therapeutic Engagement:
- Use therapeutic techniques to engage patients and support their recovery.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and patient education programs.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Education and Advocacy:
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Advocate for patient rights and promote a respectful, supportive care environment.

Compliance and Safety:
- Follow hospital policies, safety guidelines, and legal standards in nursing practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery.
Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
- Valid NMC Registration
