Pay Rate: £239.33 per day (assignment class)

Contract Length: Initial contract is 6 months

Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 9am - 5pm

Main Duties of the Programme Manager:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager and Programme Leaders to design and oversee a program that creates employment pathways in vocational areas such as Childcare, Health and Social Care, Business and Information Technology (BIT), Motor Vehicle/Bicycle Maintenance, Special Educational Needs (SEN), and other relevant curriculum areas, ensuring compliance with national and local standards.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality qualification and/or RARPA courses that address local skills needs and national priorities, optimising funding value within the agreed budget.
  • Manage tutor performance, fostering excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment, and encouraging innovative curriculum delivery methods.
  • Play a key role in a variety of learning and development initiatives, including programs, activities, and collaborative projects with community and external partners.
  • Work closely with the Economic Development team, H&F Works, and the Business Innovation team to establish strong partnerships with local employers and businesses, facilitating progression routes for ALSS learners.

 Requirements of the Programme Manager:

  • Level 4 teaching qualification
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-graduate experience in a similar role
  • Valid proof of eligibility to work and reside in the UK, current DBS check, and references covering the past 3 years
