What you will do:
- Engage in promoting and developing the body of social work knowledge within and outside of the organisation to support organisational change, ensuring it reflects the needs of frontline practice.

- Provide supportive challenges to operational practices ensuring high-quality service delivery tailored to the needs of adults and families at risk.
- Promote professional scrutiny and evidence-informed practice in social work, encouraging personalisation and effective risk management principles.
- Lead and participate in developing training programmes, ensuring the workforce is equipped to deliver quality outcomes for people who use services, families, and carers.
- Maintain a strong social work presence, ensuring statutory duties are prioritised and implemented across Adults Social Care.
- Represent Bolton in regional networks, linking into national networks, and acting as a single point of contact with Social Work England for referrals and enquiries.
