A fantastic opportunity awaits you as a Band 6 Physiotherapist specialising in Community Paediatrics in the vibrant area of Lewisham. We are searching for an experienced and enthusiastic physiotherapist who is self-motivated and eager to deliver a high-quality, comprehensive, and proactive clinical service to children and young people aged 0 to 19 years. You must be HCPC registered with a minimum of two years’ experience, particularly in the unique setting of special schools, providing care for children with complex needs. Being a car driver is preferable, allowing you the flexibility to deliver care across the community.

What you will do:
- Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessments and treatments to children and young people referred to the specialist children's physiotherapy service.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care plans are in place, addressing each child’s unique needs.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, making timely modifications where necessary for optimal recovery.
- Support and engage families and carers, providing education and resources to enhance the therapeutic process.
- Visit special schools and community settings, adapting methods to suit various environments while focusing on the child’s development and well-being.
