Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum

Sanctuary Personnel have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operating Department Practitioner to join our client's dynamic Theatre Team at a well-regarded healthcare facility in Norwich. Previous experience in Anaesthetics is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

As the successful Practitioner or Nurse, you will prepare the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery, ensuring that instrumentation, equipment, and supplies are ready for specific procedures, with a focus on minimising waste. You will be expected to manage a theatre list independently, supervise and mentor junior staff (depending on your experience), and carry out anaesthetic duties. This role offers the chance to enhance your skills across a variety of surgical procedures.

Who They’re Looking For

  • Qualifications: Qualified ODP/Nurse with an Anaesthetic Module
  • Registration: NMC or HCPC registered with no restrictions on your pin
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in Anaesthetics; recovery experience is desirable
  • Background: Previous employment in a surgical/theatre setting
  • Attributes: Highly motivated, capable of working in a challenging but rewarding environment
