We're thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team working within Older Adults Inpatient Mental Health. Based in the vibrant city of Liverpool, this role involves supporting individuals aged 65 and over with mental health needs. You'll earn a competitive £25 hourly rate, with the flexibility to consider both full time and part time commitments.

What you will do:

  • Conduct acute assessments for older adults with organic mental health problems.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide therapeutic support to enhance the psychosocial wellbeing of service users.
  • Lead interventions using occupational therapy principles to improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in case reviews and progress evaluations to ensure effective care.


Requirements:

  • Registered with HCPC. An HCPC registration ensures you have met the standards to practise as an occupational therapist.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health. This experience equips you to handle complex cases with confidence.
  • Car driver preferable. Having a valid driver’s licence is ideal to navigate between sites, offering greater flexibility.
