What you will do:
- Assess patients' nutritional needs in inpatient and outpatient settings, and develop personalised care plans.
- Provide expert advice to patients and monitor their progress for various medical conditions.
- Calculate individual dietary plans for inpatients and outpatients to ensure optimal nutrition.
- Visit medical and surgical wards to assess the need for enteral and parenteral nutrition.
- Plan and adjust nutritional regimens based on patients’ clinical conditions.
- Organise and deliver educational sessions on nutrition and dietetics for healthcare staff and patient groups.
- Foster effective communication between the catering and dietetic services to ensure patients receive appropriate menu options.
We are looking for an HCPC Registered Dietitian with at least 2 years of relevant work experience, ideally familiar with NHS environments. Being a car driver is preferable for this role to facilitate visits across various health service locations.
