The salary for this permanent Integrated Midwife job is £43,954 - £59,343 per annum.
Duties:
- Be responsible for the provision of autonomous, evidence-based, women centred midwifery care, whilst working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, other agencies, representatives and service users
- Work as a member of the maternity team, delivering midwifery care throughout the pregnancy continuum in the maternity unit or community setting to women and babies
- Be responsible for the coordination and delivery of maintenance of a high standard of evidence based practice for all families in the community caseload
- Participate in the on-call rotas for the maternity unit
Requirements of the Integrated Midwife:
- Registered Midwife with valid NMC registration
- Diploma in Midwifery Studies
- Degree in Midwifery Studies
- Completed preceptorship programme
- Experience of practicing midwifery in a full range of clinical settings
- Evidence of contributing to midwifery practice or education and training
- Examination of the Newborn (NIPE) qualification
- Experience of producing reports and presenting findings to the multi-disciplinary team
- Suitability to work with children and vulnerable adults DBS
- Enhanced disclosure via Criminal Records Bureau
