Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role within the Recovery & Support Team.
Location: Mitcham
Pay Rate: £30 per hour (assignment rate)
Contract Type: Locum, 3-month contract
Shift Pattern: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Duties:
- Hold a caseload and work with a complex caseload of clients with varied mental health conditions
- Developing treatment and interventions for health conditions within a recovery model of care
- Completing comprehensive assessments, risks assessments, drawing up meaningful care plans, risk management plans and delivering appropriate and therapeutic interventions
Requirements of the Community Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse
- NMC Registration
- Passionate about impacting positively on the lives of people with severe and enduring mental illness in a community setting
- Be able to offer intensive engagement work and recovery-orientated interventions
- Demonstrate an understanding of client’s health and social care needs
- Be able to develop and enhance the therapeutic care of individuals within the community
- Be committed to MDT and partnership working, establishing good networks with colleagues in the HTT, RST, In-Patient services, Police, GPs and a variety of voluntary, statutory and independent agencies
- Be flexible, energetic, have a positive attitude, willingness to learn and demonstrate an ability to work autonomously
