Sanctuary Personnel is recruiting a dedicated Allocations Officer for the Homelessness Service in Kirklees, offering a competitive rate of £14.72 per hour. In this role, you’ll provide invaluable support to individuals facing housing challenges, working collaboratively to help them increase independence and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Person-Centred Support: Coordinate personalised support plans that foster independence and empower service users, supporting them to achieve long-term aspirations.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct assessments to determine service users' needs, ensuring timely and effective support for goal achievement.
- Partnership Collaboration: Work with partner agencies and stakeholders to ensure service users can access both community and national services, promoting a holistic approach to support.
- Intensive Support: Offer tailored support for clients with complex needs, setting individual targets and providing resources to help achieve long-term solutions.
- Goal Setting: Assist clients in identifying realistic goals, developing actionable plans, and ensuring commitment from all parties for successful outcomes.
- Flexibility and Empowerment: Adopt a flexible, individualised approach to empower service users and their families, building confidence, resilience, and independence.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records to track performance and ensure the achievement of internal and external service delivery targets.
- Leadership: May include management responsibilities, such as direct line management, performance evaluations, or matrix management of a team.
- Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate a commitment to personal development and service improvement.

Requirements of the Allocations Officer:

The Allocations officer must have completed HHSRS training (Housing, Health & Safety, Requirements, Standards) and be able to provide evidence of this.
