Main duties:
- Train new staff members in both theory and practical supervision of Intradermal Vaccination technique
- Provide ongoing clinical support and be able to answer clinical queries from staff regarding babies who may have complex clinical histories – previous exposure to TB in the family, mother is HIV positive etc.
- Provide clinical supervision and ongoing mentorship
- Cover of BCG clinics where staff sickness or absence requires it

Requirements for the BCG Clinical Lead role:
- Degree or equivalent in Nursing (RGN qualified) with active NMC Registration (Adult)
- Recent nursing experience in the UK
- Have a good understanding/previous experience within a TB service to Band 6 or 7.
