Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Civil Enforcement Officer to work full time based in Central Bedfordshire.
The salary for this permanent Civil Enforcement Officer job is £26,421 - £28,770 per annum pro rata (+ additional weekend enhancement).
Main Duties:
- Provide an efficient and effective service of parking enforcement to minimize contraventions by issuing Penalty Charge Notices
- Promote compliance with parking restrictions through education and enforcement to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and car park space rotation
- Represent the Council in a positive and proactive manner, engaging with residents, visitors, businesses, and Council members
- Follow Civil Parking Enforcement practices and procedures and ensure that the service aligns with the council’s objectives and policies
Requirements of this job:
- Ability to follow processes, stay calm in conflict, and deal with situations appropriately
- Resilient, flexible, and able to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence in dealing with the public and other stakeholders
- A full, clean Driving Licence (non-drivers will be considered for a limited number of positions)
- Standard DBS clearance required
