Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to take on a new locum opportunity based in Oxford, within the CAMHS PICU.
Location: Oxford
Contract Type: Locum contract
Pay Rate: £21 per hour (assignment rate)
Main Duties:
- Be responsible for the co-ordination and management of the ward for a span of duty
- Assist in every aspect of the management of the inpatient unit
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to young persons and carers
- Provide high quality holistic nursing care to young persons and carers
- Work and contribute to a dedicated and skilled nursing team
- Contribute to the development of Highfield Unit PICU services
Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
- Valid NMC Registration
- Experience in mental health care or the care of young people (e.g. within CAMHS)
- Experience of working within an CAMHS inpatient unit
- Experience working in a psychiatric intensive care unit
