What you will do:
- Assess the needs for social work services, identifying risks and required interventions to improve individual and family quality of life.
- Collaborate and liaise with other professionals and agencies to deliver the best possible services to clients.
- Manage and monitor an allocated workload, ensuring compliance with individual and group priorities and Council policies.
- Maintain accurate records of work undertaken while fulfilling necessary administrative tasks.
- Prepare for, attend, and contribute to supervision sessions and staff meetings, utilising all available training opportunities.
- Share knowledge and innovations in services with other social services staff and professional groups.
Requirements:
- DipSW(post graduate diploma)or equivalent (e.g. CQSW, CSS)
- Social Work Degree, or equivalent
- Experience of working in a statutory Social Work Service(including carrying out assessments at point of crisis or significant change in service user’s life)– achieved PQ1or equivalent
