What you will do:

  • Conduct assessments to identify and manage risks to vulnerable adults.
  •  Develop and implement safeguarding plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Provide high-quality support and interventions to promote best outcomes for service users.
  • Work closely with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Make informed decisions based on legislation such as the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
  • Maintain detailed records and prepare reports to inform case management and reviews.


Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • You must hold a degree or postgraduate qualification in Social Work to apply.
  • Registration with Social Work England is essential for this role.
  • Bring your proven experience of working with vulnerable adults, particularly in safeguarding and risk management.
  • Possess solid knowledge of the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005, and other relevant legislation.
  • Your communication, analytical, and decision-making skills should be second to none.
  • Effectively manage a diverse and complex caseload with confidence and proficiency.
