Sanctuary reaches No.13 in the Suffolk Top 100
By Gemma Raw
Number 13 may be unlucky for some, but it’s certainly not for Sanctuary Personnel as we’ve just found out that we’ve made it to number 13 in Suffolk’s Top 100. Entering its twentieth year, the Grant Thornton Suffolk Limited listing gives a unique insight into the performance and difference the Suffolk business community makes to the local economy.
Reaching the top 15 is quite an accolade for Sanctuary Personnel, starting life as just a handful of people in 2006. Today, we are 150-strong and could not be prouder of how we are supporting 40,000 health and social care professionals and more than 180 employers.
An employer of choice
We know that to grow and be successful at what we do, we must look after our people. Therefore, we place a great deal of emphasis on supporting one another and are keen advocates for progressing young talent with our promising apprenticeship programme. There’s not a single person within the business that has not contributed to the growth of Sanctuary.
It has not been an easy year for our colleagues working in health and social care. However, as a business, we’ve done everything within our power to support our community and could not be prouder of the strides we are taking to help strengthen frontline services across the UK.
Making a positive impact
For us, growth is never just about the financial rewards. We use our size and status to make a positive social impact. Just this year, we celebrated our 10th year as the headline sponsor of the Social Worker of the Year Awards charity to shine a light on our colleagues in social care. We’ve also been involved in many initiatives in the fight against Covid-19, such as staffing a Convalescent Plasma programme and vaccination centres.
Outside of work, our people have also been busy making a positive difference by giving up their time to raise money for many local and national charities. We couldn’t be prouder or more supportive of their efforts.
A mark of continued success
It’s been quite a year here at Sanctuary. Our Suffolk 100 listing follows a spate of other high-profile awards, including Best Client Service at The Recruiter Awards, Suffolk Large Business of the Year and a Lloyds Bank Positive Social Impact award. It’s heartening that we’re able to grow our business by making a measurable difference.
