Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience/AP status/certifications)

Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team based in the Westergate and Chichester areas.

The role primarily involves working 75% of the time at our bustling Westergate Branch Clinic, with the remaining 25% spent at our Chichester Hospital.

Our establishment, known for its exceptional service, operates 24/7 through our night service, South Downs Emergency Vets (SDEV), and referrals service, South Downs Veterinary Referrals (SDVR). At our state-of-the-art hospitals in Storrington and Chichester, along with four busy branch clinics, we are dedicated to providing high-quality care to our clients and their pets. Our veterinary surgeons typically work a 4-day week, totalling 40 hours, with a mixture of shifts ranging from 07:30 am - 20:00 pm. We operate a daytime weekend rota with TOIL provided for weekend shifts. Additionally, all team members are expected to contribute to the bank holiday rota and on-call duties as necessary.

Requirements:

  • A seasoned General Practitioner with over 3 years of experience
  • Proficient in routine procedures and general practice
  • Relevant qualification
  • Further qualifications are desirable but not essential
  • Hold an RCVS license
