Role Overview:
- Each therapist has a dedicated caseload, but the team works collaboratively in a close-knit, supportive environment.
- Regular internal and external clinical supervision is provided, along with weekly CPD meetings.
- Manage a specialist caseload of pupils with specific learning difficulties, including dyslexia, ADHD, autism, language disorders, and social communication difficulties.
- Work closely with onsite Occupational Therapists, the Pastoral team, and Academic and Boarding staff to ensure communication targets are integrated into the school environment.
- Use dedicated therapy rooms where you will work with pupils individually, often several times a week.
- Statutory administration time is provided.
- Access to a wide range of assessments and resources to ensure therapy sessions are engaging, effective, and enjoyable.
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist/SLT:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration
- Recent UK/NHS post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
