Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Senior Social Worker within the Adult Review Team to work full time based in Waltham Forest, London.
The salary for this permanent Senior Social Worker job is up to £43,815 per annum.
Main duties:
- Conduct assessments of vulnerable people’s circumstances and issues to determine intervention/referral to the appropriate service.
- Plan and implement interventions and actions for allocated cases. Monitor and review cases. Assess in more complex cases, with guidance.
- Provide professional advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies supporting vulnerable people.
- Liaise internally and externally and work with colleagues from other agencies to ensure vulnerable people and carers are supported.
- Maintain properly documented case files, records and information. Prepare standard reports as required.
- Carry out all duties with an awareness and understanding of the safeguarding requirements within area of responsibility.
- Provide advice and support to vulnerable people to assist in completing financial assessments.
- Proactively develop professional knowledge, skills and behaviours.
- Supports colleagues in the team.
- Act in accordance with all policies and procedures which apply to the job and understand the reasons for this.
Requirements of this Senior Social Worker job:
- Social work qualification with registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in managing social work caseloads and supervising others.
- Experience in working with adults in a social care context.
- Experience of community and/or group work.
- Knowledge of adult health and social care systems, agencies, and relevant legislation.
