Pay Rate: £15.70 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties:

 

  • Provide direction and guidance to volunteers through the sharing of information and evidence in relevant practice.
  • Demonstrates and embraces an understanding of and commitment to equality diversity and inclusion.
  • Demonstrable planning and organising skills, and to also prioritise to lead to review and evaluation.

 

Requirements of the Senior Volunteer Coordinator:

  • Recent UK experience in Children’s Services
  • Good standard of education to minimum level 3 standards for example; BTech, NVQ L3, A Level.

  • Working knowledge of Social Care, Children and/or Adults.

  • Experience working with vulnerable families and working within a safeguarding framework.

  • Experience in organising and delivery of basic training.

  • Effective use of IT applications appropriate to the role.

  • Working knowledge of co-ordinating front-line service delivery and demonstrating safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the child.
