Senior Speech & Language Therapist (SLT) – Neurological Service
Sanctuary Personnel is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Speech & Language Therapist (SLT) to join a dynamic and compassionate Neurological Service based in Gloucester. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary of £45,996 per annum plus a £3,600 welcome bonus.
As the Senior SLT, you will work with individuals with neurological conditions, demonstrating specialist skills in managing complex cases and providing tailored strategies for communication and speech development. You will lead therapeutic group sessions, engage with service users one-on-one, and empower recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver speech and language therapy services to individuals with complex neurological conditions
- Develop and implement tailored interventions, including assessments, treatment plans, and outcome evaluations in alignment with care plans
- Conduct audits and contribute to ongoing research to enhance treatment practices
- Manage a caseload, providing individual and group therapy sessions
- Build strong, trusting relationships with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support recovery
- Share expertise and support junior staff development, contributing to a collaborative, team-based approach

Requirements:
- Degree or postgraduate diploma in Speech and Language Therapy (certified by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists)
- Postgraduate training or equivalent experience in a specialist area
- HCPC registration and RCSLT membership
- Advanced Practitioner in Dysphagia with experience in assessment and treatment
- Experience in managing complex cases, including working with families and carers
- Demonstrated commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
